Andrew Cuomo is the worst

I never thought I would be saying this, but AOC is right. On Sunday Morning, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez issued a statement rebuking the New York Governor, for his role in the downplaying of nursing home deaths, and called for a ‘’full investigation’’ into the Nursing Home Scandal. While I disagree with Ms. Cortez on most things, she is correct in her claims of a mass cover-up in the Cuomo Administration, and she is accurately depicting Cuomo, as a governor who repeatedly, fails to defend, and sustain a well ran state, the state of New York. Andrew Cuomo has been a poor leader, even prior to the corona virus pandemic. Cuomo was incapable of keeping Amazon, one of the largest companies in the nation, to keep their original decision, to move their headquarters to New York. That would have brought over 25,000 jobs to the tri-state area, and would have helped New York prosper, but he failed. In August of 2018, Andrew Cuomo said ‘‘America was never that great’’ in front of a large audience in New York. And Cuomo’s tax proposal would raise top tax rate for New York City to 14.7%, highest combined rate in the nation. Clearly, under Andrew Cuomo, New York has been on the decline. New York is my home state, I love this place, looking at the statue of liberty, I feel a sense of importance, that my state is a representation of the opportunity and freedom that America offers, but under Governor Cuomo, each of those characteristics, have been declining. Cuomo shut down the largest city in the world, and destroyed millions of peoples livelihoods and mental and emotional stabilities at the height of the coranavirus. And most recently, as it is now revealed, the originally reported number of deaths due to Andrew Cuomo’s irresponsible nursing home policy was downplayed. Why would anyone, still support him? Moderate, and extreme democrats have agreed to investigating Governor Cuomo, and the Republicans of New York are pushing for further punishment for Cuomo, so perhaps, we can all unite, in our distaste for the horrible New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo.
