Newly revealed evidence leaked this week, indicates an apparent attempt from Hilary Clinton and others in her 2016 Presidential campaign to fabricate dirt to “try to tie Donald Trump to the Kremlin.” Here’s why that's important.

Late Saturday, new allegations surfaced of possible illegal surveillance on the Trump 2016 Presidential Campaign perpetrated by staffers of the Hillary Clinton Presidential Campaign. If true, this would mean that Hillary Clinton and close allies of the Former Secretary of State and two-time failed presidential candidate, attempted to spy on former president Donald Trump’s computer servers in Trump Tower, to try to uncover possible scandals, the media had not yet discovered. When that failed, Clinton used the communications between the Trump campaign and outside parties, as an example for collusion, an allegation that would eventually lead to an FBI inquiry, the firing of James Comey, widespread calls for impeachment, and a two-year-long stain on the work of President Trump, despite the fact that the original claim was entirely faulty.
Now, five years later, Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice, John Durham has opened an investigation into Hillary Clinton and her campaign's role in the spying on the Trump campaign. Despite this major development, the media refuses to cover it. Former President Trump issued a statement shortly thereafter, calling the lack of media coverage unacceptable, saying “can you imagine that, what should be the biggest story of our time, bigger than Watergate, is getting absolutely no mention?!” The outrage, about what Trump see’s as apparent hypocrisy is becoming more of an issue, after a poll, Sunday, revealed that even majority of Democrats believe that Clinton's role in the wiretapping of Trump's servers ought to be investigated, and if true, is far greater of a campaign violation than some of Americas greatest controversies like watergate itself were. Former President Trump said so as well, declaring Clinton's behavior as “bigger than watergate.”
In 1972, the criminal break-in of the Democratic National Headquarters took down the career of Richard Nixon in grand fashion, all due to Nixons' proximity to the criminals that attempted to steal information from the Democrats. Similarly, if the allegations admittedly are true, Hillary Clinton ordered similar commands. She broke into both the online servers used by the Trump Campain in Trump Tower, along with Government servers in the white house during Donald Trumps' first year in office, both of which are federal crimes.
The fact that the mainstream media refuses to cover the issue because the story directly contradicts the longstanding claims they made from early 2016 until late 2018, is emblematic of a much larger issue. A record number of Americans do not trust the media. Information disseminated by major networks like the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, and others, is becoming less and less trusted by their own audiences. When the media cannot accept obvious wrongdoing, they are not media, they are propaganda machines.
