The Republican Party will collapse if Trump stays in it.

Its not just the Capital riots. Trumps rhetoric is hurting the GOP more than you think.

On Saturday night at a Republican National Committee donor retreat, in Mar-A-Lago, Former President Trump made comments about leading Republicans, and parts of the conservative movement that raised major concerns about the future of the Republican party, if Trump were to play a role in it. Trump called Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell a “dumb son of a b***h.” Trump also took aim at former Vice President Mike Pence, saying he was “disappointed” in him for not fighting the certification of the election results in January. He also criticized Anthony Fauci, who Trump said was “full of crap.” There were many other inflammatory remarks by the President during the duration of his almost 50 minute address. But what was most striking was his blaming McConnell and Pence for his 2020 defeat, and thus, further dividing the GOP. Americans are facing one of the greatest shifts in the civic paradigm in decades. Moderate Democrats are quickly adjusting into a more leftist sphere, and more than half of America realizes this, and rightfully sees this as a threat. But, they are not confident in the alternative. Republicans are starting to divide against itself under the leadership of the Former President. Rather than attacking the people trying to conquer and defeat the same enemy as you, I would suggest to the Former President that he keep his mouth shut, and stop sabotaging his own party. The Democrat Party is a dangerous one. It is suggesting to rid the nation of its morals and traditions, and replace them with a Marxist ideology, and corrupt the system itself. Both moderate conservatives like myself, and the Pro-Trump Republicans are stanch enemies of this nihilistic culture taking over the democrat party, and President Trump said it himself, that he would be strictly apposed to a potential reforming of the Republican Party. On February 28, 2021, President Trump made his first major address since leaving office, at CPAC, where he said that he would never create a new party, and that the Republican party is going to ‘‘unite, and be stronger than ever before.’’ So where is that attitude now when we need it? The elections are slightly more than a year away, and fundraising has already begun. In fact, the event the Former President was speaking at was a fundraiser for 2022! The Democrats have majority control over the House of Representatives, they have half the Senate and with the VP, that’s majority control. They have the Presidency, and now they’ve opened an inquiry into adding more judges to the court. They essentially have full control of the Federal government and it’s dangerous. They’ve used this power to make a 28% increase in corporate taxes, they’ve stopped schools from restricting female sports to only females, they’ve spent trillions of dollars on bureaucratic nonsense and they’ve brought America’s southern border to a massive crisis. It needs to stop. But how will any of that stop if the opposing party, the Republicans, are attacking themselves. President Trump is hurting the GOP’s chances of victory in the 2022 midterm elections, and it’s a bad sign. If Americans want to go into a new direction, the Republican Party should be that option, it shouldn’t be the party that was destroyed by a whiny Former President, that wishes he were still in charge. Republicans and Conservatives ought to stop listening to him, for if we do not, this may be the end of the Republican Party as we know it.
