Eric Adams is likely to be the victor, of the New York City Mayoral Elections which are held today, November 2nd. Despite this, Curtis Sliwa a Political Pundit and Radio Host, who is well-known for his decades-long work as a vigilante under his crime-fighting network called the “Guardian Angels” believes he can pull off a surprise victory in this pivotal election. His harsh stance on crime is popular amongst New Yorkers following a year of turbulence in disarray in the streets, with crime rates skyrocketing under current Mayor, Bill DeBlasio, and his economic plan of reopening NYC, and alleviating small business’s from red-tape restrictions and bureaucratic limitations is becoming the symbol of rightwing beliefs in 2021, but the reality is, in New York, due to “New York’s reliable votes for Democrats in presidential elections, their two Democratic United States senators, a majority Democratic U.S. House members, its history in exclusively electing Democratic governors and other statewide state-level officials since 2006, and a wide majority of its state Assembly members as Democrat’s” it is nearly impossible for a Republican to gain power in New York. But Curtis Sliwa’s campaign to shift the geopolitical landscape of New York goes beyond just wining today. In fact, Sliwa won't likely pull off a victory tonight, and yet his message of traditional ethics about living a good and virtuous life according to the ethical virtues, that is, to become a virtuous person, and Sliwa's battle again the modern notion of morality which is primarily focused on the interests of peoples own selfishness and nihilism, is a battle Republicans across the nation are fighting along with him, and Sliwa is an emblem for that fight, and he's the man who brought the fight to the empire state, a place that used to exude the American dream, but is now a relic of the past. Curtis Sliwa is ready to fight crime as NYC Mayor, but even if he's not elected, he's spread the message of morality, conservatism, and retaining a safe city, in 2021.
